The Company believes in the quality of life beyond the work environment and as such is committed to a five-day workweek. Additionally, the Winking Lizard observes the following holidays for rest, relaxation and time away from the workplace. We are closed New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We close the doors early on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

*Because of geographic location and the demands of business or special events, some Winking Lizards are open for Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
Rule

Working Tipped Employees are entitled to discounted meals at 50% off of the menu items posted in the store. Working Non-Tipped Employees are entitled to one free meal per shift from the menu items posted in the store.

Winking Lizard extends the availabiltyof SuperMed One through Medical Mutual of Ohio. SuperMed One is a comprehensive major medical plan for both part-time and full-time nonexempt employees. It is an independent plan offering insurance protection from catastrophic, unexpected, routine, and preventative healthcare needs. Medical Mutual offers a medical plan with various choices in deductibles; Short-term Disability, Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, and Life options are also available.

Our vacation bonus is available to give our full time employees (30 hours or more per week) time off for rest and relaxation in recognition of prompt and regular attendance and for continuous service.

Guardian VSP vision coverage is a voluntary benefit available to full-time employees on the first day of the month following 90 days of continuous employment. The vision benefit is a comprehensive plan and is offered through a network of participating provider locations.

Our 401K savings plan offers tax deferred savings and growth in a variety of investment options. Eligibility for enrollment begins after one year of full-time employment. If you elect to participate in the plan, the Company will match 25% of the first 2% of your annual contributions.
