The plan utilizes a Point of Service plan, which allows you to use the physician or hospital of your choice; however benefits will be paid at a higher level when an in-network Provider is used. Contributions are made through payroll deductions and are effective on the first day of the month following 90 days of continuous employment. The plan includes life insurance and a prescription drug card benefit.



The plan allows you to choose your own dentist. Preventive services are covered at 100% and the deductible is waived. However, if you select an in-network dentist for Basic or Major services benefits will be paid at a higher level. The plan includes a vision discount plan and child orthodontia.



The Spectra Focus Program is a voluntary benefit available on the first day of the month following 90 days of continuous employment. The vision benefit is a comprehensive plan and is offered through a network of participating provider locations. $10 Co-pay exams / $10 Co-pay materials.



Our 401k savings plan offers tax deferred savings and growth in a variety of investment options. Eligibility for enrollment begins after one year of employment. If you elect to participate in the plan the company will match 25% of your contributions for the first 2% of your annual earnings.

The amount of vacation earned is based on the number of years of continuous service and is awarded at the beginning of each calendar year, which runs from March 1st through February 28th. Two weeks of vacation is provided for managers who have been employed for 1-3 years, and three weeks for 4 or more years of service. During your first year of employment, new managers are eligible to take their first week of vacation after 6 months.



The Company believes in the quality of life beyond the work environment and as such is committed to a five-day workweek. Additionally, The Winking Lizard observes the following Holidays for rest, relaxation and time away from the workplace. We are closed New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We close the doors early on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

*Because of geographic location and the demands of business or special events, some Winking Lizards are open for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
